As the North Sea grows more crowded, the need for clear, shared geospatial standards among stakeholders has never been greater. Current spatial data definitions vary widely, and existing European standards seem to fall short. To ensure the successful rollout of offshore wind infrastructure, we need one data language.
Purpose
A reliable and secure database for the infrastructure of the North Sea

- Which infrastructure databases are used?
- Which parameters and metadata are essential?
- What steps are needed for realization?
- Where should the ownership lie?
Participating parties
Periplus and Rijkswaterstaat. Interviews with, among others, Rijkswaterstaat, Informatiehuis Marien and the Hydrographic Service.
